This country armoire, wardrobe or linen cabinet was hand crafted about 1860 of solid oak and ash planks over 1" thick. Cut square nailheads are visible on this American made furniture.
Doors have carved wooden pegs at the joints and hand chamfered raised panels. There are shrinkage separations at the edges as shown, the lock and key work.
The deep finish is in very fine condition, enhancing bold, natural grain. Painted inside, there are removable adjustable shelf supports - a closet pole could be installed if desired.
Measurements of this rugged antique are 53" wide, 19" deep, 79" tall and the interior is 15" deep. See 26 photos on Harp Gallery website that enlarge to full screen size.
