Said to be from New York state, this American Empire period table was carved of solid cherry about 1825. Classical acanthus leaf designs are in high relief on the legs.
The drawer has hand cut dovetails and a chamfered bottom. There is just enough character - mars and wear - for a little antique patina, the finish is excellent.
Size of this historic furniture is 22 1/2" wide, 19 1/2" deep and 29" tall.
