An Empire or Biedermeier design dining set includes a table with a beautiful sunburst marquetry top and eight matching chairs.
- Vintage 1970s American furniture
- No signature, but matches signed pieces by luxury maker, "Century Made in Hickory, NC"
- Gleaming walnut, mahogany, birch, and & figured walnut with ebonized accents
- Top surface has been refinished for durability. The rest of the original varnish has been cleaned and preserved with a coat of clear finish.
- Minor dings for character - see photos
- Brass leg mounts are original
- Large chairs are sturdy and strong.
- Seats are newly upholstered
- Two 22" matching original leaves with skirts or aprons
Table size is 80.5" long when closed, 48" wide and 30" tall with legroom 26.5" high. With both leaves in place, length is 124.5" overall.
Armchair size is 23" wide, 24.5" deep, and 37.5" tall. Seats are 19" deep, 18" high, and arms are 26" high.
Side chair size is 20" wide, 23" deep, and 37.5" tall with seats 18" deep and 18" high.
