This embossed leather travel case has an engraved presentation plaque dated 1844, and the maker's signature "Morhall of Soho Square" in London.
The interior is amazing, there is a mirror on an easel stand, two perfume bottles with fitted glass stoppers and silverplate covers, an inkwell with a screw top and a stationery pocket.
Other cut glass jars have silver plate covers, some with a little copper showing through, plus accessories with mother of pearl handles. Some bottles have residue inside, but we see no damage to the hand cut crystal.
There is a little wear to the velvet lining of this remarkably well preserved English antique with a lift out tray.
This jewel of a set measures 11 1/2" wide, 8 1/2" deep and 5 1/2" tall.
USPS Shipping is $35 in the US.
