French 1900 Antique Hand Carved Walnut Queen Size Bed

A dramatic walnut bed was hand carved in France about 1900. The lavish pierced crest has flower and shell motifs on this elegant furniture. Re-varnished for durability, the lustrous finish is in excellent condition.

Diamond matched panels and graceful moldings are beautiful. Iron corner brackets were installed to adapt this palatial antique to fit a standard modern queen size mattress and spring unit, the demonstrator set in photos is 16" thick together. Original side rails were extended. Wood slats are included.

Measurements are 88" long, 67" wide, the headboard is 65" tall and the footboard is 37" high. Related pieces in photos are priced and sold separately, call or email for availability.
