A palatial French calling card tray is heavy weight cast genuine bronze in the Rococo manner with silver overlay. Deeply embossed and hand chased, this elegant pedestal would have been in a foyer to receive social calling cards. Dating from the early 1800's, the hand burnished detailing is exquisite.
Size is 11" x 6 1/2" and 8" tall.
