This beautiful 1880's wall clock has pearl inlay and the original hand-painted dial. It is signed by maker "J. Humbert" of "Macon," a city north of Lyon. The ebonized frame has old wavy glass, and is hinged to lift for winding.
The brass 8 day movement has been professionally cleaned and oiled, and keeps excellent time. There is a double strike on the hour.
A brass pendulum is original on this charming antique from France, and size is 19" wide, 6" deep and 24" tall.
