This set of eight Hepplewhite dining chairs were from the estate of Prince Henry Hohenzollern of Prussia of the German Empire Royal Family.
- European antique 1900s furniture sold by Grant's Art Galleries in 1924
- Included 1924 auction catalog of the interior furnishings of the Prince's Kiel Castle in Germany
- Carved of solid mahogany with floral motifs
- Original varnish has been cleaned and preserved with a coat of clear finish
- Minor mars, old repairs & shrinkage separations from age - see photos
- Two armchairs & six side chairs have been newly upholstered
- Frames are sturdy and strong, reglued to serve another generation
Armchair size is 24" wide, 21.5" deep and 42" tall. Seats are 17" deep, 19.5" high and arms are 28.5" high.
Side chair size is 23" wide, 21" deep and 41" tall. Seats are 17" deep and 19.5" high.
