Italian Renaissance 1900 Antique Set of 6 Dining Chairs, Leather Upholstery

A set of six dining chairs was hand carved in the Renaissance manner about 1900 for a palazzo in northern Italy. Solid walnut, the lion paw feet and fine detailing are masterful.

Frames are tight and strong on this antique European furniture. The original finish is very well preserved and has been waxed and buffed, so all that is needed to maintain the warm patina is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth.

Leather upholstery has brass nail head trim and is soft and supple.

Size is 19" wide, 20" deep, 41" tall, seats are 19" high and 16" deep.
