Leather Slant Top Antique 1870 Desk

Looking like a prop in Dicken's A Christmas Carol, this English slant top desk from about 1870 has saddle leather inserts. The gleaming finish is excellent on richly figured mahogany.
Drawers have hand cut dovetails, the top right drawer has a pen holder. Clean lines are beautiful on this Victorian period furniture, it can be disassembled for moving.
Measurements are 68" wide, 28" deep, and 37" tall at the back, sloping up from 32" high at the front.
