Signed "Ludlow Matrix Cabinet, Chicago," a left side opening tall typesetter's slanting composition desk and printer's file has 21 drawers altogether.
All original including pinstriping on the paint, this industrial steel antique dates from about 1920. A brass lever on the front releases a drawer with compartments.
Nineteen matching angled type drawers on the left side have wooden dividers. Black paint on the top is well worn on this American made antique printing furniture. The only alteration from original is a black spacer for missing drawers.
Drawers have label holders, and size is 29" wide, 19" deep, the top slopes up from 47" high at the front to 57" at the rear.
The matching right hand file is priced and sold separately, call or email for availability.
