Carved about 1900 of solid quarter sawn oak with lion paw feet, this reclining "Morris" chair has been newly upholstered. A metal rod adjusts to four different reclining positions.
Solid and strong furniture, the satiny deep brown finish is excellent with a few mars at the edges and minor age shrinkage separations.
Measurements of this American antique are 32" wide, 33" deep when in the upright position, 43" tall and the seat is 18" high.
