This grand round mahogany dining table from about 1890 has six 12" wide leaves with skirts or aprons. A classical pedestal splits when opened, revealing a hidden center leg for extra support.
The gleaming finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique furniture enhancing the solid mahogany top and matched flame grain sides, which have minor shrinkage separations from age. Numbered leaves fit and match well with minor gaps at the apron to allow for humidity changes, see photos.
The table measures 30" tall with a 25" apron. The top is 53" wide and 46" long when closed. Any number of leaves can be added to reach its full length of 9' 10".
