Finding dining tables that are both beautiful and long enough for large gatherings can be difficult. However, the Victorians were masters of throwing grand feasts that required appropriate seating! With eight matching leaves, this dining table is an astonishing thirteen feet when extended.
- Antique 1890s furniture from the Black Forest where Germany, France and Switzerland meet
- Quarter sawn oak with a gorgeous hand carved base
- Top surface has been refinished for durability. The rest of the old varnish has been cleaned and preserved with a coat of clear finish.
- Mars & shrinkage separations from age - see photos
- Eight rebuilt 13.5" matching leaves with skirts and hand carved edges
- Single massive pedestal with drop legs on each end
- Top is removable from base
Size is 56" long when closed, 63" wide and 28.5" tall. Legroom is 24.5" high. With all eight leaves in place, length is 164" overall.
