A pair of "Imari" Japanese porcelain vases have cast bronze bases with a burnished gold finish. Hand painted porcelain has worn gold highlights as well.
These Asian antiques from around 1900 are undamaged. An original tag from the Los Angeles shop where they were purchased in the 1970's is priced $4200.
Size is 6" diameter and 10 1/2" tall.
