A pair of coal miner's lanterns from around 1900 are signed "Patterson Lamps Ltd., Gateshead-on-Tyne," England.
These lamps have cast brass bases with an oil font and burner, embossed "Type A1 Approved." In working condition, the iron chimneys have a few dings and some rust for antique character.
Size is 3 1/2" diameter and 10" tall excluding the hanging hooks.
