Pine 1880 Child's or Salesman Sample Cupboard Hutch

This miniature version of a china cabinet was hand made of pine about 1880. It has a glass door on top, a hand dove tailed drawer, and the back is paneled and hand chamfered. The lower compartment has a shelf. It is beautifully made with mortised joints, and has a warm honey finish in very good condition. There are a few mars at the edges to give it character - see photos. Warm and well made, this was either a child's doll china cabinet or a salesman's miniature sample of a full size hutch. This charming cupboard is 16" wide, 12 1/2" deep, and 44" tall, the lower section is 2' tall.
