This pine trunk or tool chest from the late 1800's was used by a carpenter to take his wood-working tools to jobs.
There are many different ways this 150 year old antique could have a place in your home. We envision it as a coffee table, or for storage at the end of a bed, also perfect for storing kids toys.
Hand cut dovetails at the corners are beautiful, and inside is a compartment originally used for saws.
The lock and key are working, and the finish is excellent with warm golden patina and slight traces of old green paint. There is lots of character - mars and wear.
Measurements of this charming furniture are 39" long, 25" wide and 22" tall.
