A picturesque country pine pewter cupboard was hand crafted in England around 1860. This well worn antique furniture is solid wormy pine with lots of losses to the wainscoting back, mars, stains and dings for character, see photos.
The finish is very well preserved, and has been waxed and buffed so that all that is needed to maintain its patina is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth. Behind the center doors are drawers with hand cut dovetails and chamfered bottoms, some rebuilt. Brass pulls are old but not original.
The upper section is a separate piece for easier moving. Hand cut nails are visible on this charming primitive furniture. Measurements are 5' 8" wide, 22" deep and 7' 1" tall.
