Renaissance 1925 Carved Dining Set, Table, 6 Chairs

Grandly carved in the Renaissance manner around 1925, this imposing dining set includes an oval table with 5 leaves and six chairs.

Solid walnut, the deep lustrous finish is in excellent condition on this American made furniture. Leaves are 15" wide and have skirts or aprons, only one is carved with the matching frieze, see photos. There are drop down legs for extra support when the table is extended.

Measurements are 5' wide, 30 1/2" tall, legroom is 24 1/2," and length when closed is 77," with all five leaves in place, length is 12' 8" overall.

Six large chairs are newly upholstered. Some have very slight flexion, they could be reglued at the next upholstering. The original finish is very well preserved and has been waxed and buffed, so all that is needed to maintain their warm glow is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth.

Size is 21" wide, 22" deep, 45" tall and seats are 20" high.
