This immigrant or dowry trunk has beautiful hand-painted Scandinavian folk art rosemaled decoration.
- Norwegian antique furniture dated 1833
- Farmhouse design with well worn hand painting
- Solid pine with hand cut dovetail joints
- Original finish has been waxed and buffed, preserving mars & losses. All that is needed to maintain the soft luster is an occasional wipe with a soft, dry cloth.
- Shrinkage separations from age - see photos
- Original patinated wrought iron hardware, lock is missing
Size is 38.5" wide, 19.5" deep and 25.5" tall.
