Pressback carving was a way to take simple, functional furniture and give it character without being ostentatious. This set of eight pressback signed "Sheboygan Chair Company" chairs would compliment any kitchen or dining room.
- 1900s antique Wisconsin country furniture
- Birch hardwood with elm seats
- Seats have been refinished for durability. The rest of the old crazed varnish has been cleaned and preserved with a coat of clear finish.
- Minor mars & shrinkage separations from age - see photos
- Frames have been reglued for the next generation
Size is 20.5" wide, 20.5" deep and 37.5" tall. Seats are 16" deep and 18.5" high.
