A Victorian period cast iron safe has a working combination lock, made for "Grand Billiard Parlor, Kostakos and Darling." Dating from the early 1900's, it makes an interesting chairside table for a drink and a book. Maker's signature is "J. Baum Safe and Lock, Cincinnati, Ohio."
The original pinstriping and painting are worn, and have been preserved with clear lacquer. Inside are cubicles and a locking compartment with keys. The combination for the lock is included. Wheels roll smoothly, the door is removable for easier delivery.
