Victorian Antique Papier Mache Tea Table, Pearl & Hand Painted Horses & Birds

A genuine Victorian period 1860's papier mache tilt top tea table has original painting, delicate gold leaf and inlaid mother of pearl. Horses and birds in the center panel are beautiful.

The original finish is in remarkably fine condition with a few losses and mars at the edges, preserved with clear varnish. There are various restorations over the last century and a half on this American made antique parlor furniture.

Size is 28" long, 23" across and 27" tall.
