A graceful Victorian period china or curio display cabinet from around 1900 was carved of solid quarter sawn oak. Original wavy glass and opulent brass hardware including the lion head keyhole is nostalgic.
Detailed carving is subtle and artistic on this American made furniture. The old finish is very well preserved with very little wear. Only an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth is needed to maintain its warm luster. There is a loss to the right front foot. Drawers have dovetail joints, the door lock and key still work. Inside are two plate glass shelves that adjust on metal pegs.
Dimensions are 37" wide, 16" deep and 75 1/2" tall.
