Late Victorian or "Eastlake" design includes graceful incised "spoon" or chip carving on this nostalgic ash and oak cupboard or pie safe. The warm brown finish is excellent and this American antique furniture dates from about 1890.
The sides are punched to ventilate bakery, and there are shrinkage separations and a few mars at the edges - see photos. Dimensions are 43" wide, 18" deep and 6'10" tall.
