A late Victorian or Eastlake period solid walnut swivel desk chair was hand carved during the 1880's. The seat is tufted leather with brass nailhead trim.
The restored finish is in excellent condition on this American made library or office furniture. Reglued to serve another generation, the frame is sturdy and tight. An original cast iron mechanism adjusts height and tilt.
Measurements are 22" wide, 21" deep and 40" tall as shown, adjustable up and down. The base is 26" square.
