An American classic, this Federal style Drexel writing desk is mahogany with a leather writing surface. The gleaming finish is very fine, drawers have dovetailed oak sides, and this is exceptional quality vintage furniture from about 1950.
There is just enough wear on the tooled leather top to give a little character, and the reeded legs are well proportioned.
Finished on all sides, size is 50" long, 25" deep, 30" tall, and the kneehole is 20" wide and 24" high.
