A splendid 1920's era set of six newly upholstered chairs was richly carved in the Renaissance manner.
An arm chair and four side chairs match exactly, one side chair is slightly different, see photos. The deep restored finish on walnut is in excellent condition.
All frames on this American made antique furniture are reglued to serve another generation. A maker's signature is lost on this set, but the matching side pieces were marked by famous maker, "Rockford of Rockford, Ill."
Chairs are large and comfortable and have new custom upholstery of Italian tapestry. The arm chair is 24" wide, 27" deep, 45" tall and the seat is 20" high, four side chairs are 23" wide, 25" deep and 43" tall, the different chair is 21" wide, 25" deep and 46" tall.
