A pair of 4 stack lawyer's bookcases from about 1910 are signed by famous maker, "Globe Wernicke of Cincinnati, Ohio." All original, the warm reddish brown finish on birch hardwood is well preserved, overall there is very little wear for their age, see photos.
Doors have original wavy glass on this American made antique library furniture. One of the bases has a drawer with dovetailed joints. The bases and tops are also separate stacking modules.
All sections fit books up to 9 1/2" wide, two top sections up to 8 1/2" tall, next up to 10" tall and bottom up to 12" tall. Overall size is 34" wide, 13" deep and 58" tall.
