An imposing oak desk was hand carved in Holland about 1910, it is deeply sculpted with lion heads and figures in the Renaissance manner.
The restored finish is in excellent condition on this antique library furniture. Separate keys lock two doors. Deep moldings are authentic, drawers have hand cut dovetail joints and original hardware. Next to the kneehole, the lion's noses are worn, see photos. This desk is three separate stacking pieces for easy delivery.
Measurements are 62" long, 41" deep, 31 1/2" tall, the knee hole is 15" between the bottom moldings and 24 1/2" high.
