A pair of cast bronze leopard sculptures are from the African Kingdom of Benin, now part of Nigeria. The fabled gold and bronze artistry of the Edo people is shown in this work of art.
There are irregularities and holes that show the hand work of these amazing metal workers. The dark chocolate brown patina is in very fine condition on these folk art statues.
Size is approximately 24" tall, 36" long and 7" wide.
