This wide country primitive "deacon's" or hall bench was hand crafted of maple and poplar in Ohio around 1840.
The restored finish is in excellent condition, preserving just enough mars and dings for a little character. Hand turned spindles show charming variation. Tight and strong, the frame has been reglued to serve another generation on this American made antique furniture.
Dimensions are 71" long, 22" deep, and 35" tall. The seat is 17 from the floor.
