An English Renaissance design dining set was richly carved of solid walnut by premier maker, "Kittinger of NY," in the 1920's. The table has draw leaves and there are eight chairs, newly upholstered. The best of the best, detailing and construction are superior in every way.
The restored finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique furniture. Joints have carved wooden pegs, detailed carving is exquisite. Frames are strong and tight, reglued to serve another generation.
Two armchairs measure 24" wide, 26" deep, 43" tall and seats are 20" high and 19" deep. Six side chairs are 21" wide, 22" deep, 40" tall and seats are 20" high and 16" deep.
The table measures 39 1/2" wide, 30 1/2" tall, legroom is 24 1/2" and length when closed is 80." With both refectory leaves extended, length is 11' 8" overall.
