Carved by famous maker, "Romweber" of Indiana for their "Louis XV de Gaulle" collection, this spectacular china display cabinet has dramatic sweeping curves. There is a round convex porthole glass in the door and curved panes at the corners.
Depicted in their 1942 catalog, this striking design was unique to Romweber, whose furniture was sold to the White House and many celebrities. The signature is lost but the design is unmistakable.
The original finish is in very fine condition on acacia and walnut woods with matched burl panels on this American made vintage furniture.
Measurements are 53" wide, 19" deep and 74" tall.
