An understated solid oak bookcase from about 1890 has delicate carving and bun feet. Brass hardware is original, doors have a working lock and original wavy glass. There is a gallery around the top.
The deep restored finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique library furniture. Two separate banks of shelves are adjustable. The back is wainscoting, drawers have tiny hand cut dovetail joints.
Measurements are 61" wide, 14 1/2" deep and 53 1/2" tall.
