Carved of solid oak with matched elm burl panels about 1890, this secretary desk has a "cylinder" roll top. The writing surface pulls out, and inside are small drawers and cubicles for papers.
The restored finish is in excellent condition, preserving lots of stains and mars for antique character, see photos. Large drawers have dovetail joints on this American made library furniture. The door has a raised panel.
Size is 40" wide, 24" deep, 43 1/2" tall and the desktop is 29" high.
