A large brass telescope and tripod from around 1900 is "astronomical" for viewing stars, and so the image is inverted or upside down. This instrument focuses well with a knob and gear system. There is no signature on this antique celestial telescope.
The brass has nice antique patina and the solid mahogany tripod has its original worn finish that has been waxed and buffed.
Telescope size is 5" diameter and 44" long when extended, the tripod is 6' tall and about 36" across the legs.
