Completely rebuilt and refinished about 20 years ago, this ebonized "Steinway Model O" grand piano from 1901 includes a professional bench. Expert professional rebuilding included the action, pin block and strings. The soundboard was reglued rather than replaced, which is the preferred restoration today.
This exceptional musical instrument, one of Steinway's most beloved models, holds a tune well and is a delight to play.
The classic case has a fine hand rubbed satin finish with very minor wear and scratches as shown. Rich and brilliant tone is what would be expected of Steinway, America's premier maker for well over a century.
Keys are in excellent condition, and this musical instrument has been played very little since the complete rebuilding.
Piano size is 71" long, 59" wide and 38" tall.
The rugged modern professional bench has tufted padding, signed by Steinway supplier, "Paul Jansen of Oshkosh, WI."
Measurements are 25" long, 17" deep and 19" tall, adjustable up and down.
