Item# 33756
A spectacular solid oak "partner's" desk was hand carved in the Renaissance manner with lion heads and deeply sculpted moldings in Italy about 1890. There are compartments and drawers for each "partner" facing each other. The top has new natural saddle leather panels.
The restored finish is in excellent condition on this antique library furniture. Drawers have hand cut dovetail joints. Four doors have working locks with three different keys.
For easier moving, the top lifts off and releases the pivot hinges on all four doors.
Measurements are 69" long, 48" wide, 31" tall and the knee hole is 20" wide and 25" high.
