A lovely china or liquor cabinet from about 1920 has "Chinoiserie" hand enameled and painted lacquer doors and is signed by famous maker, "Berkey & Gay." Sold by "Lammert's of St. Louis, MO," and carved of walnut with matched burl panels, the drawer has inlaid marquetry.
The original finish is very well preserved with a little crazing and a few mars, including one on the left painted door, see photos. Engraved brass pulls are original on this American made antique furniture.
The drawer has solid mahogany sides with dovetail joints. Doors have a working lock and shelves have grooves to display plates.
Measurements are 44" wide, 18" deep and 70" tall.
