Thatched Cottage & Castle Landscape Original Oil 1977 Damar 48" #35752

A charming English country landscape includes thatched cottages with a castle ruin in the background in this original oil painting on canvas. The signature is illegible, but the inscription on the back is signed "Damar" finished in "April, 1977." The bucolic scene at twilight has a beautiful sky on this vintage work of art.

The richly carved frame has a rich gold original finish with various touchups, see photos.

Overall measurements are 48" x 30" and 3 1/2" deep.
