Italian Antique Throne or Hall Chair Worn Needlepoint, Petit Point Karpen #41703

This wonderful throne or hall chair has remarkably detailed hand stitched genuine needlepoint and petit point upholstery that is very well worn.

• Italian antique furniture label is covered inside of frame
• Large Renaissance design chair from about 1900
• Signed by famous Chicago dealer, "Karpen" on brass bottom plate
• Beautifully hand carved sturdy solid walnut frame with shell motifs
• Original finish has been waxed and buffed, preserving dings, mars & stains for character. All that is needed to maintain the soft luster is an occasional wipe with a soft, dry cloth.
• Original needlepoint has several rips & holes, we have not had it cleaned - see photos

Size is 25" wide, 29" deep and 46" tall with seat 20" deep and 19" high.
