Renaissance Antique Carved Dining Set, Table & 8 Chairs #47568

A fantastically carved Renaissance design dining set includes a table with two leaves and eight dining chairs.

• American antique furniture from the 1920s, no signature survives
• Walnut & figured walnut
• Table top surface has been refinished for durability. The rest of the original varnish on table base and chairs has been cleaned and preserved with a coat of clear finish.
• In very fine condition with minor mars, shrinkage separations, & table has some surface irregularities - see photos
• Recent Italian tapestry upholstery has been cleaned and is in very fine unworn condition
• Two matching original skirted leaves
• Two armchairs and six side chairs are reglued to serve another generation

Table size is 66" long when closed, 48" wide and 31.5" tall with legroom 27" high. With both leaves in place, length is 95" overall.

Armchair size is 26" wide, 26" deep, and 54.5" tall. Seats are 18" deep, 20" high, and arms are 28" high.

Side chair size is 21" wide, 24" deep, and 50" tall with seats 17" deep and 20" high.
