From the Brittany or Bretagne province of northwest France, this stunningly carved backbar or sideboard has sculptures of a wealthy couple at their wedding.
- French antique 1900s traditional dowry furniture
- Carved of solid chestnut & oak with scenes of a farming couple on bottom doors
- Top surface has been refinished for durability. The rest of the original finish has been waxed and buffed, preserving wear & mars. All that is needed to maintain the soft luster is an occasional wipe with a soft, dry cloth.

- Working locks and keys, upper left door lock is "upside down"

Size is 61" wide, 22" deep, and 101" tall with crest. Without crest, height is 93" tall.
