This wonderfully carved hall or porch bench was handcrafted around 1790.
- European antique furniture
- Carved of solid oak with loads of quarter sawn grain
- Original finish has been waxed and buffed, preserving mars & losses. All that is needed to maintain the soft luster is an occasional wipe with a soft, dry cloth.
- Warps, wormholes, & shrinkage separations from age - see photos
- Original wrought iron hardware with a working lock & key
- Hand-pegged joints
Size is 58.5" wide, 20" deep, and 58" tall with seat 19" deep and 24.5" high.
