This fantastic replica aquarium is after esteemed art deco designer, Jewel Aquariums of Chicago. The molds were purchased from the original factory by Chicago antique dealer, Sam Robin, in the mid-80s who created a limited run of twenty four replicas. This is the only one known to be in unused condition.
- Vintage handcrafted aquarium or terrarium
- Seahorse legs & Italian dolphin tank mounts
- Solid cast bronze with a coppery patina finish
- Wrought iron bottom shelf
- Original finish in very fine condition, preserving minor wear for character
- Two removable glass panels for bottom, one is reverse-painted - see photos
- E12 candelabra sockets, bulbs included
- Marble has been polished & sealed for protection
- Tank, marble top, & base disassemble
- 60 gallon capacity
- Weighs 440 lbs together, tank is 185 lbs & base w/ marble is 255 lbs
Overall size is 49" wide, 28" deep and 51" tall.
