Cupid Carved Rosewood Triple Armoire or Wardrobe

A carved Cupid panel adorns a dramatic rosewood triple armoire or wardrobe with center beveled mirror. Sweeping graceful Art Deco curves are expressed in matched rosewood, supported by lion paw feet.
Pewter and copper hardware and piano door hinges are original. The finish is very fine with various repairs and irregularities, especially to the lower curved moldings, see photos.
Artistically hand-carved in fruitwood, the angel or Cupid scene has stellar details. This remarkable antique furniture was hand-made in northern Italy near Milan about 1925. The interior has shelves in the right section and a closet pole on the left, it could be reconfigured as desired.
Locks are operational, and this can be disassembled for moving. Dimensions are 7' wide, 29" deep, and 6' 4" tall.
