The matched flame grain mahogany has a superb lustrous finish, there have been a few touchups and mars as would be expected. The drawers have exquisite tiny hand-cut dovetails, the interior is remarkably clean.
After opening the lockable center door, the secret drawer above can be released. For moving, this antique separates into two pieces. The drop front lock works, the front drawers have dummy keys to use as handles.
