A magnificent French combination dressing table, sewing stand and jewelry chest from the 1890's is entirely exotic marquetry inside and out.
The intricate inlaid rosewood and satinwood outside has its original finish. Waxed and polished, all that is needed to maintain its patina is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth.
Cast brass mounts are original, locks and key work. When the lid is lifted, there is a mirror and more exquisite marquetry of kingwood, tulipwood and curly maple. There are tiny compartments and a pincushion inside this opulent European antique furniture.
Measurements are 21" diameter and 38" tall.
